Teigan and Lachlan Douglas' wedding was a true reflection of their love—laid-back, casual, and full of fun. After an intimate ceremony in Scotland, they returned to the Gold Coast to celebrate their union with loved ones at the Southport Tigers Football Club, a venue that holds special meaning for them. It’s where their journey began, with Lachlan playing football there and meeting Teigan. The club was the perfect setting to create new memories at a place already filled with love.
The reception was as lighthearted as the couple themselves. Their first dance was an unforgettable moment, made magical by a dry ice machine that covered the dance floor in billowing clouds of smoke, adding an ethereal touch to an already heartfelt occasion.
Teigan’s creative side shone through in the personal touches and DIY decorations she crafted herself. These unique details, including a retro phone where guests left personal audio messages for the newlyweds, added a warm, thoughtful element to the evening.
The night came together seamlessly, thanks to a team of dedicated vendors. Allure Events completely transformed the space turning the footy club into a magical fairly light dream, while Snaptured bought the fun times with their Photobooth & DJ, and of course, capturing the magic of the day, J’adore Weddings’ dream team doing both photo & Video for this intimate wedding was Jessica & Stayc ensuring that these cherished moments would be remembered forever.
Teigan and Lachlan’s reception was more than a celebration—a tribute to their love, their friendships, and the start of their new chapter. With the Southport Tigers Football Club providing the perfect backdrop, it was a night full of joy, laughter, and heartfelt memories that will be treasured for years to come.
